HOWDY. Here's a pencil sketch of Clark Kent that I scanned in and colored with some new brushes in Photoshop. There's a tactile honesty about a pencil sketch versus the quality of a line drawn in Photoshop.
Not taking anything away from digital art, it's what I make a living in and how I ultimatlely love to draw and design, but I found an urge to color in this sketch once I scanned it. (I'm putting together a book of sketches, so I've been scanning in quite a bit of pencil work lately.)
Achieving a 'hand-done' look or at least getting the viewer to look twice and to question its origin would mark a success for this piece, and future technically similar pieces.
